Error R:105 appears if the Windows operating system installed on your Shadow has crashed, resulting in a blue screen of death (BSOD).

Cause

A BSOD is an error screen that the Windows operating system displays in the event of a fatal system error. It indicates a system crash, in which the operating system has reached a critical condition where it can no longer operate safely.

Solution

On a conventional PC, a BSOD can be resolved by restarting the computer. To restart your Shadow, click the Help icon on the launcher, then click Shut down Shadow.

In rare cases, a BSoD is fatal, and there are no recovery options. The fastest solution will likely require a factory reset. If you have important data on your Shadow you'd like to recover, contact Support.
