How to factory reset your Shadow PC

Looking to start over on your Shadow?
Resetting Shadow is often the simplest solution; especially if you're looking to resolve technical issues or remove malware quickly.
Now you can reset Shadow from your account.
A reset takes approximately 30 minutes, up to an hour. For more information, see the instructions below.
⚠️When you factory reset your Shadow PC, all your data from the C: Disk is lost.
Data from the D: Disk remains intact.
We strongly suggest to backup your data before you proceed to factory reset your Shadow PC.
To reset your Shadow:
Log in to your account page and access the Shadow PC tab.
Next to your subscription name, click "Edit".
Click "Reset my Shadow PC". A pop-up window will appear.
Type "RESET" in the corresponding field from the pop-up window, then click "Continue".
Choose the configuration, language, and keyboard settings that your Shadow PC will have after the factory reset.

Click "Reset my VM".
Wait at least 30 minutes before starting your Shadow to avoid interrupting the process.
If you've waited more than an hour and Shadow will not start, contact a Support Hero to check the status.
A Support Hero can also initiate another reset on your behalf.
