You can add or remove storage to your Shadow PC from your account page. When you add additional storage, it will be added to your Shadow PC as a secondary (D:) drive.

You can add or remove storage at any time. Alternatively, you can also use your own cloud storage or USB drive.

Add or remove storage

1. Log in to your account page.

2. Go to All my PCs under "Shadow PC".

3. Select the PC you want to add storage to.

4. Click Settings → Configuration.

5. Use the slider to adjust how much additional storage you'd like this PC to have.

6. Click Proceed to checkout and finish your order.

How much storage can I order from Shadow?

If storage is available, you can order up to 5TB of storage in increments of 256GB.

I added storage to my existing Shadow PC. When will I be billed?

When you add storage to your Shadow PC subscription, you’ll be charged immediately. The first payment covers a prorated amount for the rest of the current month. On your next invoice, you'll be billed for the full month.

When can I remove storage?

You can remove storage at any time. Once your storage has been removed, we'll issue you a prorated credit.

Credits will be calculated depending on:

• How much time remains on your current billing cycle

• How much storage was removed

Cloud Storage and USB Drives

Shadow PC supports cloud storage solutions like Shadow Drive, and you can also connect USB devices like hard drives and flash drives. However, your experience will highly depend on your upload speed.

Why can't Shadow PC detect my USB storage device?

Your USB storage device may need to be forwarded using USB Peripherals or there may be an issue with your connection. See our guide for help connecting USB devices.

How do I backup my data on Shadow PC?

You can back up your data using a cloud storage solution or USB storage device. Likewise, you can also use this method to transfer your files.
